Day 19: Rest day in Blois
We left camp at 8:30 and barely made it to our 9am church in Blois. Wandered down the hill through Blois on the way to a park for the kids to play and passed by their huge Cathedral. Kids played at the park by the river and adults did some shopping for dinner. Had Kababs for lunch and spent the rest of the day at the campsite.
It’s not easy for me to just hang out at home. I like to stay busy and keep moving. Bike touring takes a lot out of you, and I have no problem at all just relaxing. Though it seems there’s still plenty to do. Laundry, wrangling kids and preparing meals. It’s still nice to be off the bike and rest my legs. Pulling Weehoo’s and Baby Trailers is a lot of work.
