After two weeks of riding in he sweltering heat I couldn’t imagine being in the cold. Now I can. We were wet all day, and it was nice to take a Luke warm shower to end the day.
One benefit of the rain and overcast skies is food preservation. You don’t have to be as careful about what food you let sit out when it’s only 60 degrees outside. And you can buy chocolate. The last few weeks were so hot that a chocolate bar wouldn’t last more than 30 minutes in the heat.
